Hazrat Sumayyah bint Khayyat (RA): She was the wife of Yasir ibn Amir and the mother of
Ammar ibn
Yasir. She was the first woman in
history to be martyred for embracing Islam.
Hazrat Umm Ayman (Barakah) (RA): She was the mother of Usama Ibn Zayd.
Hazrat Bilal ibn Rabah (Bilal e Habshi) (RA): He converted to
Islam while a slave.
Hazrat Washi ibn Harb (RA):
He killed Hazrat
Hamza (RA),
Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) uncle and a Muslim general, but converted to Islam. He
later killed Musailimah, the opponent of the Muslims during the Wars of Apostasy.
Hazrat Al-Nahdiah (RA):
She converted to Islam while she was a slave.
Hazrat Lubaynah (RA):
She converted
to Islam while she was a slave.
Hazrat Umm Ubays (RA):
She converted
to Islam while she was a slave. She was the daughter of Al-Nahdiah.
Hazrat Harithah bint al-Muammil (RA):
She converted to Islam while she was a slave.
Umm Ubays was her sister.

Hazrat Fey Bedja Mwamba (RA): According to
Comorian legend, he was a Comorian noble who brought Islam to the Comoros
Islands visiting Mecca during Muhammad’s (SAW) lifetime and there converted to
Islam.
Hazrat Mtswa Mwandze (RA): According to
Comorian legend, he was a Comorian noble who brought Islam to the Comoros
Islands visiting Mecca during Muhammad’s (SAW) lifetime and there converted to
Islam.

Hazrat Maria al-Qibtiyya (RA): She was a slave
and was one of Hazrat Muhammad's
(SAW) wives and was the mother of Muhammad's third son Ibrahim.
Hazrat Sirin (RA) : She was the wife of Hassan ibn Thabit, who was
one of the best Arab poets of the time. Maria al-Qibtiyya was her sister.

Hazrat Abdullah ibn Salam (RA)
: He was a rabbi before his conversion to Islam
and was the first Muslim that was explicitly promised Jannah (paradise) by Muhammad (SAW) while
he was still alive. He is credited as the man who participated most in all the
battles during the Prophet's time and after that. He was an expert in reading
the Hebrew bible as a mother tongue and was assigned by the Prophet to write
down the Quran.
Hazrat Safiyyah bint Huyayy (RA): She was one of Hazrat Muhammad's
(SAW) wives.
Hazrat Rayhana (RA): She was also
one of Muhammad's (SAW) wives.
Hazrat Banu Najjar (RA)
: "The
Carpenter family" a Jewish family who converted to Islam under the Tree
"Ansar allegiance under the tree" and shook hands with the Prophet,
and were the first Ansar Muslims
of Medina.
Hazrat Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (RA):
He was the host of
the Prophet (SAW) when he immigrated to Medina. He participated in the First
Siege of Constantinople at age over 80.

Amir, early believers of Muhammad (SAW).

Kurdish
Hazrat Jaban Sahabi (RA)
: He was better
known as Jaban Al-Kurdi. In the year 18 after Hijra, he went back to Kurdistan
to preach Islam in his homeland. Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani mentions in his book Finding
the Truth in Judging the Companions, 10 hadiths which are quoted by Jaban.
His son Abu Basir was a Tabi'i.

Sindhi Jat
Hazrat Muhammad Ali Jat (RA) : He is claimed
to be a legendary ancestor of some Sindhi tribes, who traveled from Makran,
present-day central Pakistan to
Arabia to meet Muhammad (SAW) and embraced Islam there, before returning to his
people and introducing them to the faith.

Persian
Hazrat Salman al-Farsi (RA): He was born in
Persia but embarked on a long and continuous journey (away from his homeland)
in search of the truth. He ultimately reached his destination in Arabia, when
he met Muhammad (SAW) and converted to
Islam. It was his suggestion to build a trench in the Battle of the Trench that
ultimately resulted in a defeat for the forces of the enemies of the Muslims.
Hazrat Fayruz al-Daylami (RA): He was sent out by Muhammad (SAW) to assassinate Aswad Ansi, who claimed
prophethood in Yemen.
Hazrat Munabbih ibn Kamil (RA): He was a Persian knight. He had two sons, who
were both Islamic scholars.
Hazrat Salim Mawla Abu-Hudhayfah (RA): He was a highly
respected and valued Muslim (among his fellow Muslims), who died while fighting
against the forces of Musaylimah during the Wars of Apostasy. Umar ibn
al-Khattāb suggested he would have designated Salim as his successor to the
Caliphate had he still been alive.

Hazrat Cheraman Perumal (RA): He was a Chera king of South India (Kerala) who traveled to
Arabia and converted to Islam.

Assyrian
Hazrat Addas (RA):
He was a young Christian slave boy (originally from Nineveh) who was the first person from Taif to
convert to Islam.
Hazrat Al-Najashi (RA): He was the king of the Kingdom of Aksum who allowed a number of Muslims
(who were being persecuted by the pagans of Arabia) to live safely under
his protection in his kingdom. He later converted to Islam and when he died,
Muhammad (SAW) observed prayer in absentia for him.
Hazrat Badhan (Persian Governor) (RA): He was the
Sassanid Persian Governor of Yemen who converted to Islam after one of
Muhammad's prophecies was proven to be correct. As a result, every Persian in
Yemen followed his example and also converted to Islam. The first Mosque of outside
Arabia was ordered to be built by him in the Persian Port city of Ceylon.
